Solo Mining Technical SEO QA: Canonical, OG, and Indexability Checklist
A technical QA checklist for solo-mining pages to validate canonical tags, social metadata, and robots/index eligibility.
Purpose
Publishing content is only half the job. If canonical tags, metadata, or crawl eligibility are inconsistent, discovery slows and page quality signals weaken. This checklist gives a repeatable Day 5 technical pass for solo-mining pages.
Canonical and Robots Validation
- Each page has one canonical URL pointing to itself (or intended canonical target).
- No accidental noindex on revenue or strategic educational pages.
- Query/filter pages are intentionally controlled if they create duplicates.
- Robots and sitemap signals do not conflict.
Open Graph and Social Snippet QA
- OG title and description match page intent and target query cluster.
- Fallback image exists when no featured image is present.
- Twitter card metadata is populated and consistent.
- Snippet language is clear and specific to solo-mining outcomes.
Indexability Runbook
- Check response status and canonical output for each priority URL.
- Verify inclusion in sitemap and submit if newly published.
- Place at least one internal link from a crawl-active page.
- Recheck discovery in Search Console over 3-7 days.
If a page is technically correct but isolated from internal links, indexing can still be delayed.
Weekly Technical Pass Output
At the end of each weekly pass, store a short log: URL, issue type, fix applied, and expected outcome. Over time this creates a reliable QA baseline and prevents repeat regressions.
